Formula 1 Grand Prix racing began in Miami in 2022 and returned this past weekend.

I was reminded that it was in Miami, ten years ago, that I delivered my first of many “Performance at the Limit, Business Lessons from Formula 1” workshops in the U.S. for a select group of participants.

Working closely with Bonnie Hagemann and her EDA, Inc. colleagues, we examined how F1 teams deliver high performance while under extreme pressure. The insights discussed about leadership, teamwork, and creating a winning culture were relevant for all organizations operating in competitive environments.

I was privileged to include several outstanding speakers during the two-day seminar: Brett Lunger, former F1 driver; David Hobbs, former F1 driver and television motorsport commentator; Brad Hollinger, businessman who at that time was a 15% shareholder in WilliamsF1; and Bruce Oreck, former U.S. Ambassador to Finland. All added valuable perspectives to achieving success on the track and in business.

One participant kindly produced this two-minute video from the experience. https://vimeo.com/1189445843?fl=tl&fe=ec
