Not my typical blog post, but one that has received many social media views

What are the odds? Stepping out at the top of the stairs from the London Underground at Piccadilly Circus with my wife on May 19 morning on our way to the Royal Academy. Mother with child in stroller waits for the lights to change to cross the street. Toddler drops a water bottle with cap closed onto the street. A fast moving garbage truck drives over the bottle shooting the cap off and showering me with its entire contents. Toddler cries because she lost her bottle, mother looks at me and apologizes. I let my shirt and trousers air dry as we continue our walk to the museum. Another of life’s surprises.
