While closely following Finland’s defense policy, business decisions, and humanitarian activities due to the devastating war in Ukraine; and, as I am also getting over a bout with Covid, I thought I’d post something uplifting today. Denmark’s Kevin Magnussen made a dream return to Formula 1 with the HaasF1 Team, finishing 5th in the season opening, Bahrain Grand Prix on Sunday. The joy of this accomplishment extended to the celebrations in the garage after the race. This photo was taken from a video posted on social media. Magnussen placed his daughter in the cockpit of his car, she disappeared for a moment and then popped up, while he and his wife looked on. One cannot help but smile with them.
