A Diplomatic Job Well Done

I attended a reception at the US Embassy in Helsinki this afternoon to say farewell to US Ambassador to Finland, Douglas Hickey and Dawn Ross. He is returning to the US ahead of schedule to join the campaign team of presidential candidate Kamala Harris, as an advisor, especially on technology policy issues.

Without doubt Ambassador Hickey is leaving his post with the relationship between Finland and the US being better now than ever before.
