Yesterday, my publisher posted my profile in the August edition of Global Leaders Today magazine. I was delighted to be interviewed by them and in the process become better acquainted with their professional and stylish publication.

I suggest you browse through the useful and inspiring stories in the magazine. And it would be wonderful if you choose to read my profile on page 20. https://globalleaderstoday.online/magazine/

One good question I was asked that did not make it into the article was, “what is a favourite book that has greatly impacted you and would advise everyone to read?”

I replied by mentioning a book by Hyrum W. Smith that I purchased in 1995. “The 10 Natural Laws of Successful Time & Life Management” which influenced my perspectives on work and life.

Here are three takeaways from the book that have stayed with me:

1. One must get in touch with your personal values; prioritize those values; and behave in accordance with them to achieve a sense of harmony in life.

2. To reach any significant goal one must leave your comfort zone.

3. Your self-esteem must ultimately come from within yourself.
