"Riding the Waves of Culture"

In the late 1990’s I was teaching at a training center located in Bad Homburg, Germany that had been established pre-EU to teach bankers from selected financial institutions across Europe.

When I learned Fons Trompenaars at Trompenaars Hampden-Turner was leading a session just before mine about working effectively in diverse countries and cultures, I arrived early to see him in action.

Trompenaars and Hampden-Turner’s seminal work, “Riding the Waves of Culture,” (4th edition out now) is based on solid research. And when Fons speaks on cross-cultural issues, his does so with clarity, enthusiasm, and humor.

I have had the pleasure to know him as a friend since then and greatly appreciate his providing this endorsement for my new book “Exploding Turkeys and Spare Trousers, Adventures in global business.”

“The content of this book is as intriguing as its title. Many descriptions of real-life experiences from one of the most travelled individuals I know. Congrats to Ken for a great job, there is nothing more telling than stories. This is a must read.”

-Fons Trompenaars

World-renowned expert on international management and author of the global bestseller, Riding the Waves of Culture.
