The U.S. Formula 1 Grand Prix will take place in Austin, Texas on October 24th. And there is tremendous buzz already to welcome the inaugural Miami Formula 1 Grand Prix in May 2022.
With this as background and Finland’s history of producing exceptional F1 drivers, I contributed an article to the latest issue ‘SAM Magazine’ produced by the Suomi-Amerikka Yhdistysten Liitto (SAM), also known as the League of Finnish American Societies.
The article is titled, “What executives can learn from F1 teams” and contains a few takeaways from my co-authored book, “Performance at the Limit, Business Lessons from Formula 1 Motor Racing,” now in its third edition.
The editors of SAM Magazine’s also kindly included a mention of my latest book, “Exploding Turkeys and Spare Trousers, Adventures in global business.” It includes 53 short stories from my international business travels, including a few from my experiences working with Formula 1.
