When my daughter was young she sang a song, “Make new friends but keep the old, one is silver and the other gold.”
I have been fortunate to make friends around the world, “some for a reason, some for a season, and some for life.” I appreciate every one of them.
During our lives we strive to achieve personal and business goals. We set targets and KPI’s to measure our progress and success. We sometimes find that having reached those goals we are still not satisfied.
What truly enriches us are the two-way relationships and circles of friendship we are lucky to find and nurture.
At year end, especially given the challenges that have been faced during Covid, we should be grateful for the people who have been there for us, are there to support us now, and who we can count on in future.
Happy New Year!
